Swag Bucks Goodness

If you don't know what Swag Bucks is, you should. It's a great way to earn prizes simply by searching. and it doesn't cost you anything. I'm usually very suspicious about claims of cool stuff for nothing. They're usually scams, but we have used Swag Bucks for almost a year now, and we feel very comfortable promoting it.

It's for real. In less than a year of using Swag Bucks, Taan and I collectively received about $60 worth of Amazon e-cards / gift cards, and another $25 worth of restaurant gift certificates. All we did was use Swag Bucks as our main search engine, instead of Google, and we kept collecting "Swag Bucks". As soon as we collected enough, we redeemed the Swag Bucks we earn for prizes - gift cards, and other cool gadgets. If you're patient, you can bank your Swag Bucks until you have saved up enough for bigger items like game consoles, IPhones, etc.

You have to be realistic about this when you first join in. You won't automatically get anything right away. It takes time, and it also depends on how often you use the Swag Bucks search engine in place of Google, Yahoo, and etc. Swag Bucks also gives you plenty of opportunities to earn more through Swag Codes, which appear randomly at a limited time. If you find a Swag Code, enter it in and you will earn more Swag Bucks.

Check it out for yourself by clicking on the banner below, and we can all start earning more Swag Bucks together. ^_^

Nintendo DSi XL

Nintendo (US) recently announced the upcoming US release of the newest model of the Nintendo DS game console. It's called the NDSi XL, which is much bigger than the DSi. The XL's screen is 93% larger and the touch pen in larger as well. Other than that, nothing else has been changed. The XL will launch on March 28, and the price is set at $189.99.

This model has been out for over a year in Japan and other parts of Asia, and it's called NDSi LL. I'm assuming the LL stands for larger screen and larger pen (?). There hasn't been much publicity about this. Perhaps because the NDSi hasn't been out in the US for too long, and the color options are very limited right now.

Is bigger necessarily better? I guess it depends on what you need/use it for. Nintendo said that they intended for the XL to be more of social gaming experience, where more people can watch you play games. The bigger screens can allow more people to be engaged in the game. The XL will be a cross between an individual handheld console and the standard gaming console. However, it is unclear whether the XL can support multiple players are once, and how that would work. So for now, the social gaming experience will be limited to watching someone play a game.
